Logbook, 26 January 1832 - 19 February 1933, kept by Grosvnor B Gates on the whaling ship GEORGIA of New London, Charles Brewster, master, during a whaling voyage to the Indian Ocean. Made 3 ports of call, spoke 22 other vessels and mentions several altercations involving spike throwing between crew that result in injury at sea. Also includes whale stamps.
