Journal kept on board the armed brig JAMES MONROE, David S Williams, master, sailing as a privateer off the coasts of France and Spain. Two seamen reported wounded, one seaman lost overboard, made 2 ports-of-call, and spoke 26 other vessels, of which 18 were boarded and 3 taken as prizes.
