Description
Journal kept by Edmund A. Terry of Patchoque, New York, a passenger aboard the bark KEOKA, James McGuire, master, from New York to San Francisco. Terry was a member of the Pachoque Mining & Trading Company. Volume contains good descriptions of Rio de Janeiro, Valparaiso, San Francisco and lifeaboard ship. Includes a passenger list with amount paid by each. Captain kept a woman aboard.
