Journal kept by Richard Waterhouse Carter, ship's carpenter aboard the whaleship YOUNG EAGLE of Nantucket, Massachusetts, Benjamin Lathrop, master. Contains accounts of carpenters duties. YOUNG EAGLE sank before reaching home, but there is no indication in journal.
